As a therapist, with a background in community mental health, I have many tools and perspectives to draw on to ensure you feel safe and supported. I specialize in grief and loss, burnout, caregiver burnout, depression, anxiety, and stress. I have an multicultural/culturally sensitive practice and am an LGBTQ2*S ally.

I would be honoured to sit with you as you share your story and your time. It is my privilege the opportunity to walk alongside you, to understand who you are holistically, and to explore your thoughts and life, without judgement. I strive to create a relationship in which you feel supported, protected, and where you have enough space to be yourself as you explore your life; past, present, and future. I believe that together we can find solutions to the difficulties that are impacting you, to help move you forward with strength and confidence.

It is my hope for you that together we can build the tools and skills you need to support you now and into the future. I hope that together we can also acknowledge and develop your strengths to ensure you are living the life you want.

If you are ready for support in moving through your struggles, please contact me to schedule an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you.

Beginning counselling can feel like a meaningful step — often taken during times of transition, uncertainty, or a desire for deeper self-understanding. I offer a supportive space where you don’t have to navigate these experiences alone. My work is grounded in helping people reconnect with themselves, move toward greater authenticity, and develop self-compassion as they work through life’s challenges.

I support adults and women who are navigating trauma and recovery, life transitions, personal growth, and questions around identity and neurodivergence, including late diagnosis. Many of the people I work with are seeking not only relief from symptoms, but a deeper understanding of themselves and a way of living that feels more aligned and sustainable.

My approach to therapy is warm, gentle, and insightful. I believe meaningful change happens through self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and responsive to your individual needs and preferences — one where you can feel supported, resourced, and also gently challenged to grow toward your goals.

I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), somatic and body-based approaches, relational therapies, and self-compassion–informed practices. This integrative approach supports skill-building, somatic awareness, and a deeper connection with your inner wisdom, allowing change to unfold at a pace that feels respectful and sustainable.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. I bring over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, including extensive work in non-profit and community-based settings supporting individuals with complex mental health challenges, trauma histories, and experiences of marginalization. I have been practicing as an RCC since January 2024 and currently work in private practice with adults.

I have always been drawn to listening deeply to people’s stories and offering a calm, supportive presence. My work is also informed by my own lived experience with mental health, including navigating a late ADHD diagnosis, which has deepened my understanding of how important it is to feel truly seen and understood in therapy. I am passionate about supporting people in getting to know themselves more fully, connecting with their inner wisdom, and becoming more authentic in who they are and how they live.
